Xylinia has been studying various forms of dance

since the age of three.   It was in 1990, however, that she

began to study bellydancing.   She has been proud to be a student of

both Sasha, of Centereach, New York and Amira Jamal, of Boston in

addition to some of the world's most renowned bellydancers in

professional workshops.

Xylinia performs regularly in nightclubs and restaurants as well as

parties, weddings, festivals, corporate functions and "bellygrams".  

She has performed with the troupes Solaris, The Jewels of Jamal,

The Flying Tresses and the comedy-duo: Queens of De-Nile! with Chantal. 

She has also been an instuctor of the dance in many settings

including workshops, gyms and yoga studios, as well as

college classes at Wellesley and Bunker Hill Community College.
